Mubende High Court endorses hearing timelines in Busujju election petition against MP David Lukyamuzi Kalwanga

According to the Daily Monitor, Justice Mary Babirye of the High Court in Mubende endorsed timelines agreed by the parties in the petition by NRM's Vincent Nyanzi challenging the election of NUP MP David Lukyamuzi Kalwanga in Busujju County. Nyanzi alleges irregularities, including voters being prevented from reaching polling stations; Kalwanga and the Electoral Commission maintain the election was free and fair. Defence lawyer Caleb Alaka said each party was given five days to file affidavits and submissions before the hearing.
