Mubende High Court orders recount at 29 polling stations in Kassanda South election petition

The High Court in Mubende ordered a recount of votes from 29 polling stations in Kassanda County South in a petition by independent candidate Eria Mubiru against the election of NRM MP Abdul Bisaso. Acting Judge Mary Babirye named 14 stations and ruled that 15 more would be drawn by lot, saying the recount is evidence only and makes no finding on the merits of the petition.
