Museveni orders fresh probe into CCTV maintenance contract, lets Internal Affairs PS and Undersecretary return to work

According to ChimpReports, citing unnamed sources at a State House meeting, President Museveni rejected reports by the ISO and the State House Anti-Corruption Unit on the National CCTV maintenance dispute and set up a new team to investigate. Sources said he directed that contractor Dealan Associates Limited be paid its outstanding dues with interest and damages, and allowed Internal Affairs Permanent Secretary Lt Gen Joseph Musanyufu and Undersecretary Aggrey Wunyi, who had been on forced leave, to resume duties while the probe continues.
