National Peasants Party unveils over 30 parliamentary candidates in Kampala

The National Peasants Party (NPP) presented more than 30 parliamentary candidates at an event in Kampala, including former presidential aspirant Noah Denis Mubiru for Bunya East, according to Nile Post. NPP presidential candidate and Secretary General Robert Kasibante alleged irregularities and unethical conduct by some returning officers of the Electoral Commission during nominations on the 23rd and 24th, saying several NPP aspirants were disenfranchised.
