NRM declared winner of all six parliamentary seats in Kasese District

According to results declared by returning officer Godfrey Mbabazi, NRM candidates won all six parliamentary seats in Kasese District, including Crispus Kiyonga in Bukonzo East, The Independent reported. The outlet described it as a first for the party since the return of multiparty politics. Museveni was reported to have 59.79% of the presidential vote in the district.
