NUP and NRM supporters clash at Kakuuto, Katikamu North, Luweero

Police said supporters of NUP MP Denis Sekabira and NRM flag bearer Gadaffi Nasur fought at Kakuuto in Katikamu North Constituency at about 7pm, after the NRM candidate's group arrived at the venue where Sekabira had held a rally earlier. According to Savannah Region police spokesperson ASP Sam Twiineamazima, preliminary findings suggest the clash was retaliation for an attack between the groups the previous day in Butuntumula; two men were seriously injured and admitted to Luweero General Hospital.
