NUP candidates allege altered results at Kampala division mayoral tally

Kawempe mayoral candidate Emmanuel Sserunjogi objected that the declaration forms being read differed from his agents' copies and showed reporters forms he said had been discarded, while Opposition Leader Joel Ssenyonyi and MP-elect Elias Nalukoola said figures read at the tally centre were higher than on polling-station forms. The Daily Monitor reports the Kawempe result was eventually declared in Sserunjogi's favour.
