NUP deputy president for Western Uganda Jacklyn Tukamushaba taken by armed security personnel in Muhanga, Rukiga

According to her family and NUP leaders, Jacklyn Tukamushaba, NUP deputy president for Western Uganda and a Rukiga Woman MP candidate, was taken from Concord Hotel in Muhanga Town Council by armed security personnel, some in uniform. Her daughter said the men held them at gunpoint and drove her mother away in a vehicle; the family says her whereabouts remain unknown. Security officers approached by the Daily Monitor declined to comment.
