NUP says security personnel shot a civilian in both legs as Kyagulanyi's convoy passed Bukoloto, Kayunga

NUP spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi said a middle-aged man was shot in both legs at Bukoloto–Kayunga while waving at the convoy of NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi on the way to a rally in Kayunga. Kyagulanyi blamed people in security uniform, alleging they fired live ammunition and tear gas to disrupt his convoy. According to ChimpReports, police had not commented on the incident by press time and the man's identity and condition were unclear.
