NUP unveils Florence Asio as Bukedea Woman MP candidate against Speaker Anita Among

NUP president Robert Kyagulanyi announced Florence Asio as the party's candidate for Bukedea Woman MP, after the party's earlier candidate and two other aspirants were removed from the voters' register. Kyagulanyi accused Speaker Anita Among of using the Electoral Commission and the courts to block her rivals; the Commission says it acted within the law.
