Parliament department heads report to CID Kibuli as Among probe extends to staff bank accounts

According to Uganda Radio Network, investigators in the corruption, money laundering and illicit enrichment probe linked to former Speaker Anita Among are analysing bank accounts of Parliament staff in the Transport, Finance, Protocol and Communications departments. Several department heads were reported to have begun reporting to CID Headquarters in Kibuli on Monday. Unnamed sources alleged that staff accounts were used to move funds for Among; she has made no public comment and police did not respond to calls.
