PFF's Samuel Makokha charged with misprision of treason at Nakawa Magistrates Court

Samuel Makokha of the People's Freedom Front was produced in Nakawa Magistrates Court and charged with misprision of treason, according to a charge sheet seen by ChimpReports. The charge accuses him of failing to report an alleged plan by Col. (Rtd) Dr. Kizza Besigye to commit treason in 2023 and 2024, in Kampala, Busia and Kisumu in Kenya. The PFF called the charge baseless and accused the state of using the courts against opposition members.
