Phase II of Swedish-funded Community Justice Programme launched in Kampala

The second phase of the Community Justice Programme, a $9.6m programme running from December 2025 to December 2028 and funded by Sweden through Sida, was launched in Kampala at an event hosted by Swedish Ambassador Maria Håkansson. The ambassador said Sweden had signed an agreement with the International Development Law Organisation in November 2025 to implement the phase, and IDLO said it aims to improve women's access to justice.
