Plain-clothes security operatives arrest journalist Arnold Anthony Mukose after radio talk show, Old Kampala

According to URN, plain-clothes security operatives seized Digitaltalk Media journalist Arnold Anthony Mukose as he left 90.8 Metro FM on Martin Road and drove him away in a van. His lawyer said JATT operatives searched his home in Lukuli-Nanganda, took his laptop and phones, and detained him at Old Kampala Police Station without charge, linking the arrest to Mukose's petition against the Computer Misuse (Amendment) Act. The Uganda Journalists Association condemned the arrest and called for his release; police and security agencies had not commented.
