According to ChimpReports, Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja, on a visit to Kayunga Hospital, called the journalist's claim of a faulty oxygen plant false and directed police to summon him to retract it and apologise to the President. The journalist had raised conditions at Mukono, Kayunga and Namuganga health facilities with President Museveni at the Electoral Commission offices in Lweza; he later said in a video that he was not in custody but in hiding.
Disputed: Nabbanja said the journalist's claim that Kayunga Hospital's oxygen plant was faulty was false, while the journalist had told the President it had been faulty for a year and a half; reports that he was arrested were denied by the journalist, who said he was in hiding.
