Police arrest 93 suspects in evening operation along Northern Bypass around Busega

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Racheal Kawala said an intelligence-led operation was carried out between 7pm and 11pm around Busega Fish Market, nearby cinema halls, a swamp towards Bulenga and Kigwanya Zone, targeting people suspected of robbing motorists in traffic. Police said 93 people, including four women, were arrested and that suspected opium, suspected stolen phones and knives were recovered.
