Police arrest FDC presidential candidate Patrick Amuriat at party headquarters before nomination

According to ChimpReports, police deployed at the FDC headquarters in Najjanankumbi, Kampala, arrested presidential flag-bearer Patrick Amuriat hours before his nomination and forced him into a police car despite his resistance. Amuriat had said he would not follow the police route guidance to the Kyambogo nomination venue; several FDC activists who had gathered for prayers were also arrested.
