Police in Busia arrest CN Sugar agent over alleged land fraud in Dabani Sub-county

According to ChimpReports, police in Busia District arrested and detained an agent of CN Sugar Limited after residents went to the Resident District Commissioner's office to protest the company's claim to about 16,830 acres of land. Police said the agent is being held at Busia Central Police Station to assist investigations, and security and district officials said they are investigating possible misrepresentation, forgery and land grabbing.
