Speaker Oboth directs Works Ministry to build Mulwanda border road in Busia District

Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oboth directed the Ministry of Works and Transport to build a 12-kilometre road at Mulwanda, through Lumino Sub-County, to open a third Uganda–Kenya border crossing. ChimpReports says he gave the directive as chief guest at a thanksgiving ceremony for Minister of State for Works Julius Wandera Maganda at Butenge Primary School in Lunyo, Busia District. Busia County Governor Paul Otuoma urged Uganda to complete the link.
