According to the Daily Monitor, Assistant Superintendent of Police Clive Nsiima is accused of slapping a female shop attendant at a petrol station in Kyanja, Kampala, after she asked him to pay for goods, and of damaging her mobile phone. A viral video of the incident led police to arrest and detain him; he denied the charges of assault and malicious damage to property when arraigned.
