Presidential aspirant Daniel Ssemugenyi asks High Court to halt ballot printing over unheard EC nomination petition

Presidential aspirant Dr Daniel Dennis Ssemugenyi appeared before Justice Bonny Teko of the High Court in Kampala seeking judicial review orders against the Electoral Commission, according to the Daily Monitor. He says the EC has not heard his September petition over his nomination and asks the court to stop ballot printing unless he is included, and to award damages. The judge said he would rule the following week.
