Prosecution asks High Court to bar commentator Anthony Natif from reporting on Katanga murder trial

According to Nile Post, Senior State Prosecutor Jonathan Muwaganya applied orally before Justice Rosette Comfort Kania to bar citizen journalist and commentator Anthony Natif from reporting or writing about the Molly Katanga murder trial, citing the sub judice rule. Defence lawyers and media observers warned the move could chill media freedom and questioned why another commentator was not targeted. The judge said she would rule on Monday, 6 October.
