Prosecution witness in Besigye treason trial admits omitting Lutale and Oola from police statement

According to the Daily Monitor, the prosecution's main witness in the treason trial of Dr Kizza Besigye, Wilson Andrew alias Orlando, told the High Court in Kampala that the statement he recorded at Kibuli CID in March 2025 did not name co-accused Obeid Lutale or UPDF officer Capt Denis Oola. The paper notes the statement was recorded months after the two had been arrested.
