Prosecution witness Andrew Wilson told the High Court in Kampala that Obeid Lutale, jointly charged with Dr Kizza Besigye and Capt Denis Oola with treason, attended a November 2024 meeting in Nairobi and that Dr Besigye had described him as his 'second in command'. The accused deny the charges. According to the Daily Monitor, Justice Baguma rejected a defence request for at least two weeks to review audio and video evidence and directed cross-examination to start the following week.
