Prosecution witness testifies in Besigye treason trial at High Court in Kampala

A prosecution witness, Andrew Wilson alias Orlando, told the High Court in Kampala that Dr Kizza Besigye and alleged associates had discussed using an airstrip at Mahagi in eastern DR Congo as an escape route after a planned assassination of President Museveni, according to the Daily Monitor. The prosecution played clips from a video recording the witness said he made secretly during meetings with Besigye. The proceedings were presided over by Justice Emmanuel Baguma.
