Protesters raid Ntenjeru tally centre and set NRM district offices ablaze in Kayunga

Supporters of NUP Woman MP candidate Harriet Nakuwadde protested results showing NRM candidate Jackline Birungi leading and reportedly raided the tally centre at Ntenjeru Township before being dispersed, according to the Daily Monitor. The NRM district offices were later set on fire, and the party's district registrar said the attackers took Shs15 million; protesters also blocked the Kampala–Kayunga Road and an unspecified number were arrested.
