Results declared for Kampala City Hall councillor seats: NUP wins 17 direct seats, NRM 11 plus four PWD seats

According to The Independent, results declared by the District Electoral Commission for directly elected Kampala city councillors gave NUP 17 seats and NRM 11, with NRM also winning all four seats reserved for persons with disabilities. Leader of the Opposition Joel Ssenyonyi described the irregularities in the 2026 elections as 'unmatched' and suggested they may have favoured NRM councillors.
