Speaker's bodyguard arrested after shooting and injuring a female driver on MacKinnon Road, Kampala

Police arrested Corporal Humphrey Muhanguzi, a bodyguard to Speaker Anita Among, over the alleged shooting and injuring of a woman driving near the Speaker's residence, and Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Rachael Kawala said the rifle had been recovered. Security sources gave differing reasons for the shooting, and an aide to the Speaker said she was away at the time and had contacted the victim's family.
