Trade ministry officials and police close two roadside sugarcane weighbridges in Masindi

According to ChimpReports, officials from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, accompanied by police, closed the Rukondwa Weighbridge in Bikonzi Sub-county and the Kihande–Mile 2 Weighbridge in Masindi Municipality. The government says the roadside weighbridges were providing markets for stolen sugarcane.
