Uganda and Somalia sign education MoU; Somali students to pay EAC tuition rates in Uganda

ChimpReports reports that at the close of the second session of the Uganda–Somalia Joint Permanent Commission in Kampala, State Minister for Higher Education John Chrysostom Muyingo said Somali students in Ugandan universities would pay the same fees as other East African Community students under a newly signed education MoU. He said the directive had already been communicated to tertiary institutions. Somalia's Education Minister Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir welcomed the decision.
