Uganda and UNODC sign Host Country Agreement to establish UNODC office in Kampala

Foreign Affairs Minister Adonia Ayebare and UNODC Regional Representative for Eastern Africa Ali Farouk Elbereir signed a Host Country Agreement at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters, ChimpReports said. According to the ministry, the planned Kampala office will work on wildlife trafficking, people smuggling, cybercrime, money laundering and corruption, and officials said it is expected to be among the agency's three largest operations worldwide.
