UPDF Defence Forces Council elects 10 army representatives to Parliament at Bombo

The Defence Forces Council, sitting as an electoral college chaired by President Museveni, elected the 10 UPDF representatives to Parliament for the 2026–2031 term at the Land Forces headquarters in Bombo. According to The Independent, the Electoral Commission presided over the vote, and CDF Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba was not among the candidates.
