Bodyguard of Busia Municipality MP Geoffrey Macho shot dead at church in Busia; two police officers arrested

The Daily Monitor says UPDF soldier Ivan Kakayi, bodyguard to Busia Municipality MP Geoffrey Macho, was shot first in the MP's car and then fatally in a church compound in Sofia Village, Busia Town. Two Busia police officers were arrested and handed to the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence. According to Busia deputy RDC Paul Kalikwani, the two admitted to the shooting but have not given a motive.
