EC declares NRM's Patrick Ogwang Obura winner of Oyam South parliamentary seat

Returning Officer Joseph Omona declared Patrick Ogwang Obura of the NRM elected MP for Oyam County South with 29,353 of 49,137 valid votes, according to the results he announced. UPC's Geoffrey Owili came second with 9,529 votes, and the complaining candidate, Queen Dorothy Amolo, received 3,516.
