Police arrest NUP deputy president Zedriga, secretary general Rubongoya and seven others in Oyam

According to The Independent, police picked up NUP deputy president Lina Zedriga Waru, secretary general David Lewis Rubongoya and seven other members of Robert Kyagulanyi's advance team at Oyam-Boma ground and took them to Loro police station. The North Kyoga Regional Police Commander said the leaders had flouted COVID-19 guidelines by mobilising more people than allowed for rallies.
