Oyam South candidate Queen Dorothy Amolo complains to EC over wrong name on ballot paper

Independent parliamentary candidate Queen Dorothy Amolo said that on polling day her name appeared on the Oyam South ballot paper as "Queen Dorothy Alweng". According to URN, she alerted the Oyam District Returning Officer by phone near the close of polling and later submitted a written petition. The Returning Officer, Joseph Omona, said the election could not be cancelled because the complaint came after polling and counting had begun, and that the EC legal team advised her to seek legal redress.
