Electoral Commission cancels LC1 elections in three Busia villages after chaos at polling stations

The Electoral Commission cancelled LC1 elections in Solo B village (Western Division), Buwumba village (Dabani sub-county) and Buhamuna village (Buhehe sub-county) after voters reportedly turned violent and stopped presiding officers from using the voters register, The Independent (URN) reports. EC officials said fresh elections would be organised in the three villages.
