Electoral Commission declares LCIII chairperson results in Mukono District; NRM wins most seats

According to The Independent, Mukono District Returning Officer Emily Amongin declared LCIII chairperson results at the district tally centre under heavy security, with NRM taking most seats and NUP and an independent each winning one. The EC reported no formal contestation of the declared results. NUP's Joseph Mulwana, winner in Kasawo Town Council, alleged isolated incidents of chaos during voting, including claims that rival supporters interfered with some ballot boxes.
