Mukono LC5 petition: returning officer and presiding officers cross-examined over missing and conflicting results

At the High Court in Mukono, lawyers for Johnson Muyanja Ssenyonga cross-examined the Electoral Commission returning officer and several presiding officers in his petition against the election of Francis Lukooya Mukoome as Mukono District chairperson. According to the Daily Monitor, the returning officer confirmed that results from four polling stations were not tallied, and several presiding officers admitted errors on declaration forms; the court also expunged an affidavit whose author did not appear.
