Electoral Commission declares NRM's Samuel Begiira Central Region Youth MP in Masaka

An Electoral Commission returning officer, Harriet Kashagire, declared Samuel Begiira of the NRM elected Central Region Youth Representative to Parliament, according to ChimpReports. Official results cited by the outlet gave him 1,001 of 1,100 valid votes, ahead of six candidates from NUP, DP and independents; the results were announced at Masaka Sports Arena.
