NUP's Lutaaya closes case in Masaka High Court petition against Kaka's Kakuto election

NUP candidate Geoffrey Lutaaya closed his case before Justice Joyce Kavuma at the High Court in Masaka after presenting 10 witnesses in his petition against the election of NRM's Ismael Lubega Kaka as MP for Kakuto Constituency. Lutaaya alleged that results from seven polling stations were altered in Kaka's favour and that people were ticking ballots at the tally centre; the court adjourned to hear the respondents' evidence. Electoral Commission results gave Kaka a 685-vote margin.
