Electoral Commission issues programme for Kikuube district chairperson by-election, polling set for 10 June 2026

The Electoral Commission released the electoral programme for the Kikuube District chairperson by-election in a statement dated 17 April signed by EC Chairperson Justice Simon Byabakama, setting polling for 10 June 2026. The by-election follows the death of chairperson Peter Banura in a road crash on 4 April; the programme covers a register update from 28 to 30 April, nominations on 25 and 26 May and campaigns from 28 May to 8 June.
