Fence around Nakanyonyi Church of Uganda school garden vandalised and houses built on disputed land, Mukono

According to Mukono Diocesan secretary Rev. John Musoke, a barbed wire fence around a garden of Nakanyonyi Church of Uganda Primary School was vandalised overnight on 24 March 2026, and by morning houses were being built on about 30 acres. Diocesan leaders told the Daily Monitor that a gang of land brokers has taken over more than 200 of the archdeaconry's 425.8 acres, and they blamed police inaction.
