Five judges assigned to hear 21 election petitions at Masaka High Court circuit

Masaka High Court Deputy Registrar Roy Karungi told journalists that five judges had been deployed to handle 21 petitions arising from the January 2026 general election, with pretrial conferences set for 14 and 15 September. She said the petitions were expected to be disposed of within two months; they include NUP's Rose Nalubowa's challenge to Masaka City Woman MP Justine Nameere's election.
