Four Rukungiri High School teachers arrested for holding lessons during school holiday

According to the Daily Monitor, four teachers at Rukungiri High School were arrested in an operation led by the office of the Deputy Resident District Commissioner, accused of teaching during the school holiday. Deputy RDC Ahimbisibwe Wilberforce Ongom said the teachers had defied a Ministry of Education and Sports ban on holiday lessons and would be charged in court, and he warned that other teachers doing the same would be arrested.
