At a press briefing, Rukungiri Resident District Commissioner Bron Kikanshemeza said three district employees had been interdicted pending investigations into alleged mismanagement of public funds on government projects. Chief Administrative Officer Fredrick Byekwaso told the Daily Monitor his office had not interdicted anyone, leaving the status of the three unclear.
