Four-vehicle crash on Kampala–Gulu Highway at Kitaleba Village, Kiryandongo, kills 46

According to ChimpReports, a crash involving four vehicles early on Wednesday at Kitaleba Village on the Kampala–Gulu Highway killed 46 people, by updated police figures, and injured others; it was reportedly caused by reckless overtaking. President Museveni said he had directed the State House Comptroller to give Shs5 million to each bereaved family and Shs1 million to each injured person.
