Rescheduled parliamentary polls held in Kibanda North after ballot error suspension

Voters in Kibanda North County returned to the polls for the parliamentary seat, with eight candidates including incumbent NRM MP Linos Ngompek, the Daily Monitor reported. The Electoral Commission announced on Friday that the fresh polls would also be held in Ibanda Municipality and Ajuri County, where voting had been suspended on 15 January.
