Kiryandongo PDM SACCO chairperson arrested and charged over alleged fraud

Authorities arrested the chairperson of Panyadoli PDM SACCO in Kiryandongo District over allegations that he collected money from 15 people by falsely claiming it was needed to register them for Parish Development Model funds, ChimpReports reports. He was presented in court on 13 March 2026 and remanded to prison.
