High Court in Mukono consolidates Kabaka's land suits against 12 district governments and Attorney General

According to ChimpReports, Justice Stephen Mubiru ordered that seven suits filed by Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II in several High Court circuits be merged with a case in Mukono, ruling that they raise substantially similar issues over government occupation of restored Buganda Kingdom land. The Attorney General had opposed consolidation. The court set 20 March 2026 for a consolidated plaint and 15 April 2026 for the hearing.
